Throughout Europe our international association of lawyers has proven to be useful for clients of member firms.
In one case, a German facade builder reaped the benefits of quick and smooth access to the Polish register of companies and insolvency data. This was arranged by the Polish partner office.
Another international case concerned a Swiss/Uruguyan inheritance issue. The Swiss partner office Fellmann commissioned the RBB & Partner Office to carry out a German certificate of inheritance procedure for real estate located in Germany and to pay off any mortgages.
Furthermore, a Swiss company was represented by the Fellmann office through the German Galexy partner to review its general terms of business and adjust it to suit German and EU law.
In addition the Belgium office of Hardeman Hoebeek Warson Wouters conducted together with RBB & Partner the accident regulation with the German liability insurance for Belgian victims of a traffic accident in Germany and asserted compensation claims and damage claims.
September 2012 - Throughout the Galexy, several legal issues have been resolved recently for partner firm clients, by taking advantage of the knowledgde base within the network.
A Belgian CEO of a German company was accused of delay of insolvency, and a criminal representation as well as civil law consultation were conducted in close cooperation between the Belgian and German partner offices.
In another case A Swiss commercial agent conducted business with a German contractor and made commission claims, represented by the Swiss as well as the German partner office, valid for the German courts. Interdisciplinary issues of commercial agent law were clarified by both Parties.
The third case involved a Swiss metalworker who made a claim before a German court due to evidentiary proceedings for supposed faulty metal parts. Issues of Swiss and German statute of limitations law were clarified in cooperation with the responsible partner offices.
Last but not least, the Belgian office Varlow represents a Dutch fashion house, whose German daughter concern made a legal claim. In close collaboration between the Belgian and German partner offices, possible solutions were worked out and the legal representation was carried out to the clients satisfaction.
An Austrian subsidiary of a Germany based company working in the automitive sector needed support concerning social security payments of sales agents. The Insbruck based Galexy partner could efficiently help withing days.
